Fifty years after her death and 100 years after her brief, mysterious disappearance, this piano recital invites the audience to rediscover Agatha Christie—a pianist, singer, composer, and music lover who devoted her entire life to writing detective novels, only to become the subject of a mystery that remains unsolved to this day.

Pietro Beltrami graduated from the “G. Rossini” Conservatory in Pesaro with highest honors. He subsequently earned a diploma from the “Incontri col Maestro” International Piano Academy in Imola (BO). He performs throughout Italy, playing in major Italian theaters and concert halls, including the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Parco della Musica in Rome, the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni in Bologna, the Accademia Filarmonica in Bologna, the Teatro Vittoria in Turin, the Teatro Litta in Milan, the Sala Puccini at the Milan Conservatory, the Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Milan, the Teatro Comunale in Florence, and the RAI Radio 3 studios in Milan. Winner of numerous prizes and awards, in May 2016 he made his debut in the U.S., where he performed at Radford University (VA), the Argentha Theatre in Little Rock (AR), and the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York. In 2021, he founded the Beltrani Modern Piano Trio with violinist Daniele Negrini and cellist Tiziano Guerzoni, touring throughout Italy with repertoires of 20th-century composers and film music featuring original arrangements. With the record label Da Vinci Publishing, he has released the following albums, reviewed by major national and international publications: Rachmaninoff – Concerto No. 3/Barcarolle/Liebeslied (2021), Rachmaninoff – Complete Piano Transcriptions (2023), Gershwin – Rhapsody in Blue/3 Preludes/10 Songs (2024), Respighi – Piano Works (2025). In 2024, he released his first collection of original compositions, titled “Pietro Beltrani – Selected Works,” with the publisher Schvung (Rotterdam, NED). In 2025, he released the album of original music Home on the “Con Fuoco Records” label.

Giacomo Sangiorgi, pianist, musicologist, and writer, earned his diploma in piano from the “G. Verdi” Higher Institute of Musical Studies in Ravenna under the guidance of Maestro Davide Franceschetti, and graduated with honors (110 cum laude) in DAMS and with honors (110 cum laude) in Music Studies from the University of Bologna. A music teacher at the “C. Bassi” Comprehensive School in Castel Bolognese, he is an artistic director and event organizer, as well as an author of theatrical scripts and works of fiction. For the La Corelli Cooperative, he wrote the librettos for the “Melologic – opera game” trilogy and musicological texts for anniversaries and commemorations of local musicians. He performs as an accompanist with the ensemble I Camera Diletto and other chamber music groups in the major concert halls and theaters of Emilia-Romagna: the “Rossini” Theater in Lugo, the “Santa Cecilia” Oratory in Bologna, the “San Rocco” Oratory in Imola, the Church of San Giacomo in Russi, the Teatrino del Vecchio Mercato and the Cinema Teatro Moderno in Castel Bolognese, the “Masini” Theater and the “Fellini” Hall in Faenza, the Teatro dell’Osservanza and the Circolo Sersanti in Imola, the “Corelli” Hall of the “Alighieri” Theater and the “Rasi” Theater in Ravenna, and the “Oriani” Hall in Bagnacavallo. Together with the Guidi-Farnè piano duo, he wrote and produced the show “Non sparlate sul Pianista” (Don’t Gossip About the Pianist), a musical-comedy talk show dedicated to the top ten most frequently asked questions posed to a pianist throughout his or her career.
