Innovation for Living in Certosa District
On the occasion of Milan Design Week, the Certosa District hosted, in the fascinating spaces of La Cattedrale, the "Innovation for Living" exhibition. A visionary installation, designed by Pininfarina Architecture, which involved companies, startups and professionals engaged in designing solutions for the future of living and selected by DesignTech, the organizer of the initiative.
Prominent among the projects featured in the exhibition is the new Microlino, a small concentration of design and innovation in smart mobility presented by Koelliker as a preview for Italy. Also present were numerous brands and design studios active in the fields of furniture, biotech, IoT, AI, blockchain, 3D printing and augmented reality.
In addition to the main exhibition, each of the days was enlivened by a series of events such as talks, workshops, live music , and performances that were well attended by experts, enthusiasts, and the curious.
Also unveiled to visitors in advance is the construction site of the new CoFactory, designed by RealStep SICAF, main partner of the Fuorisalone in Certosa, for DesignTech. An innovative space where the most advanced rapid prototyping technologies will be made available to companies and professionals.
